Cambodian PM reiterates JBC meeting has no negotiations on 4 disputed border areas, prepares to file a lawsuit at the International Court of Justice on June 15, insists he did not initiate it first
On June 13, 2025, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet posted on Facebook that the meeting of the Thai-Cambodian Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) to be held today (June 14) will not include negotiations on 2 issues: the borders related to the areas of Ta Muen Thom Temple, Ta Muen Tod Temple, Ta Kwai Temple, and the Emerald Triangle, because Cambodia has decided to submit the issues of the 4 areas to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and will wait for Thailand's stance at the JBC meeting to see if Thailand will join Cambodia in submitting the case to the ICJ. If Thailand refuses, Cambodia will submit a unilateral petition, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send an official letter to the ICJ on Sunday, June 15. สล็อตเว็บตรง
